If you follow Miss Mustard Seed anywhere online, you probably know that all of her paint colors have a story. While Mustard Seed Yellow and Curio may not have the most interesting stories behind their names, they are one of my favorite colors, and one of the most versatile colors of the paint line, respectively. Below are the details on MSY {Mustard Seed Yellow...we like abbreviations around here...}. I'll give Curio it's own post later this week {or realistically, maybe later this month.}

Mustard Seed Yellow

Named after the color of... {surprise} ...seeds from mustard plants. Miss Mustard Seed {Marian} describes her Mustard Seed Yellow as a "warm, buttery yellow. It's bright without being too bold and it's a perfect 'happy yellow.'" I love the variety available within the MMS paint line, when using different top coats over the same color. The Golden Sycamore put together these awesome samples to show how MSY looks with each of the available top coats.
