Minneapolis-bound. Our second store opens in December!

Oct 21, 20142
We've been looking for a permanent S. Mpls location for over a year now, and we recently found the perfect space. Picture a great storefront with big windows, rustic hardwood floors, and an original tin ceiling painted a clean white, with exposed duct work and modern gray and orange walls. New Minneapolis Store Location | Carver Junk Company | 48th & Chicago | Opening December 2015   New Minneapolis Store Location | Carver Junk Company | 48th & Chicago | Opening December 2015 Picture a neighborhood with amazing businesses, including Turtle Bread, Pumphouse Creamery, Sovereign Grounds Coffee Shop, Rue 48 Salon {Aveda}, a local tap room {Town Hall Tap}, Pepito's Mexican restaurant and a brand new Primp cheap-chic boutique - all just a couple of blocks north of Minnehaha Parkway in South Minneapolis. Sounds pretty amazing, right? It is. We're still in disbelief. The space is about the same size as the main room of our Carver store, and the vibe will be similar {think same great music, amazing repurposed furniture, and handmade decor}. And the even bigger news? We'll be open EVERY WEEKEND! Yep, you read that right. We plan to open Thursday - Sunday {hours still TBD} every week to start, and eventually we'll be open 7 days a week. Our Carver store will remain occasional, open one weekend {and the occasional surprise Saturday} each month, and will still be packed to the rafters with all the same amazing stuff. We'll carry different handmade product lines in each location, so you have an excuse to visit both stores! And, of course, since 95% of our furniture is one-of-a-kind, you'll always find different pieces at each location. We'll carry both the Miss Mustard Seed's Milk Paint and Fusion Mineral Paint lines at the Minneapolis store as well. Want to keep up to date with the Minneapolis store Grand Opening, as well as the exciting new products we'll carry there?
