July Ladies' Night + Upcoming August Events!

Whew! It's been a busy month! So busy, I forgot to fill you all in on the amazing Ladies' Night we had in July {you know, for those of you who couldn't make it...} First of all, we had some amazing vendors join us. Camp Cheesecake, which is the vintage camper-turned-food truck, came out with their cheesecake by the slice, and it was heavenly. Not only did they have all the best flavors you think of when you think cheesecake, they also carry gluten-free and vegan cheesecakes. Our daughter has a dairy allergy, so for her first birthday, instead of regular cake, we had the vegan raspberry swirl cheesecake from these gals, and everyone raved about it! The cheesecake is made by Muddy Paws Cheesecake out of St. Louis Park, and it's the best in town. THEN, we partnered with the fabulous Michaela Rae Photography and Mobile Photo Booth MN. Michaela setup an open-air photo booth right in the store, and we used a set of antique church doors as the backdrop, with some vintage picture frames for props. These booths are fun for so many occasions! Michaela also took some amazing shots of the store while she was there, with her regular camera {because taking all the cool stuff into the photo booth would have been tough...you know, because there was SO MUCH cool stuff.} We had some beverages, and I put myself on stage to do a milk paint demo. We let everyone test out the milk paint on some mini-MN wooden ornaments, and then I painted a small end table, distressed and waxed it, all within the hour of the demo. In addition to the August shopping event, we have one more Milk Paint workshop happening in August, one in September, and at least one in October. Sign up early!
