Carver Junk Company MINNEAPOLIS!
Dec 21, 20142
Remember when we told you we'd signed the lease on an AMAZING storefront in a FANTASTIC neighborhood in BEAUTIFUL Minneapolis? It was probably filled with way more exaggerated adjectives I just can't remember right now, but it turns out all of those things are really true!
We've been looking for a space in Minneapolis for over a year. We knew it's where our second store was meant to be, and we've been holding out for the perfect location. "Holding out" turned into "waiting until we had more time" when we had a baby in July. We told everyone we knew that we'd probably wait until Spring or Summer 2015 to make the jump into Minneapolis.
And if we've learned anything in the last few years, it's that we are often presented the best opportunities when we least expect them, and our success has come from recognizing and seizing those opportunities.
So, here we are - with our second store at 4748 Chicago Ave S in Minneapolis. In a neighborhood we love, surrounded by businesses {and business owners} we love. AND WE ARE SO EXCITED!
Have a look at the store before we opened last weekend:

Thanks to everyone who came out to help us celebrate our Grand Opening this weekend! It was a warm welcome to Minneapolis, and we're looking forward to a great year in 2015. We'll be open every Thursday through Sunday, and because the items we carry are primarily one-of-a-kind, the store will look new and different each time you visit!
And, of course, our Carver store will continue to be open with all of the same great junk you've come to expect, at least one weekend per month.
Merry Christmas, Happy Holidays, and Happy New Year, we hope to see you soon.
