Design Trade Program

Design Professionals play an important role in creating environments that positively affect clients' everyday lives. We want to help you offer your clients the best in style and quality while offering you pricing that will add value to your project.

We invite qualified Design Professionals to apply for memberships and enjoy trade discounts, exclusive promotions, and product sneak peaks.

The Carver Junk Company Design Trade Program is for professional interior designers, architects, home stagers, and licensed general contractors that work with homeowners on their design or improvement projects. The program is not open to other businesses not focused on the residential design and home improvement segment. Discounts are offered for items purchased for use in interior design trades only, on full-priced merchandise, and do not include apparel and "gift" items.

At least one of the following documents is required to support your CJC Design Trade Program application:

  • Valid, current membership in a major design organization (e.g., ASID, IIDA, AIA, NKBA, IDC)
  • Interior design certification (e.g., NCIDQ, CCIDC)
  • Valid business license verifying your business in interior design or licensed general contracting
  • Valid EIN or Resale Certificate confirming active interior design-based business
  • Membership proof from an international interior design organization equivalent

Once approved, you will see the discount tiers automatically reflected on your online account, and will receive the corresponding discounts in-store at all Carver Junk Company locations. A valid ID will be required at time of purchase for in-store purchases.

Discount tiers refer to cumulative purchases made during a calendar year (January - December). Merchandise and Services purchases and discounts are calculated separately, and cannot be combined. Once a tier amount is reached, new discount rate goes into effect for 12 months. Discounts are applied to TRADE sales only with Valid Registration, Credentials (on file), and a valid ID presented at time of purchase. Discounts cannot be combined or used in conjunction with any other discount or promotion. The discount is not valid on previously placed orders or gift card purchases. Services, shipping costs, taxes and other fees are not eligible for the discount. Sales tax will be charged unless a resale certificate is on file.

Include the following as attachments to your email application, sent from the email address you would like registered as your login for carverjunkcompany.com.

One of the following:

  • Valid, current membership document from a major design organization (e.g., ASID, IIDA, AIA, NKBA, IDC)
  • Interior design certification (e.g., NCIDQ, CCIDC)
  • Valid business license verifying your business in interior design or licensed general contracting
  • Valid EIN or Resale Certificate confirming active interior design-based business
  • Membership proof from an international interior design organization equivalent

PLUS, both of the following:

  • Resale or Sales Tax Certificate number
  • Copy of business card with your design profession

Tell us about yourself and your business! Incomplete applications will not be accepted. Once your application has been submitted with valid documentation, you will receive an email confirmation indicating your application is being reviewed. We reserve the right to make all membership determinations at our sole discretion.

Return Policy 

As with all Carver Junk Company purchases, all sales are final. Custom order payments are due in full before work will begin.

Termination Rights

Carver Junk Company reserves the right to change or cancel the Design Trade Program or a customer's membership with or without notice.

Carver Junk Company Tax Policy

If you intend to purchase merchandise for resale, you will be required to supply a Resale or Sales Tax Certificate. Without this documentation, sales tax will be applied to all orders. Signed Resale or Sales Tax Certificates are required for each state where you seek tax exemption (US only).

DISCOUNT

  • Discount applies only to full-price merchandise for purchase in the U.S. through the Company’s U.S. stores or website at the then-published retail price. Discount is non-negotiable.
  • Discount may not be combined with any other offer, coupon or promotional program and cannot be applied to reduced price, sale, closeout or clearance merchandise.
  • Discount is not applicable to purchases of Gift Cards, eGift Cards, apparel, gifts (as determined by Carver Junk Company), shipping and handling, taxes or other fees and non-merchandise charges.
  • Discount does not apply to any purchases made prior to enrollment in the Design Trade Program.
  • The Design Trade Program discount is not redeemable for cash.
  • Company reserves the right to change the list of items not eligible for the Design Trade Program discount at any time and at its sole discretion. Any such changes will be posted online at https://carverjunkcompany.com/pages/design-trade-program.

COMMUNICATION AND PRIVACY

  • Company may contact Designers or design firm directly regarding changes to the Design Trade Program.
  • As a Design Trade Program member, Designer will automatically be opted-in to receive Company emails for marketing purposes. Designer may unsubscribe from marketing emails at any time.

By submitting the required eligibility documentation (as set forth above), Designer confirms he/she has read, understood and fully accepts and agrees to the terms and conditions set forth in this Agreement.
