MakeMN: Clock & Antler Recap, and Upcoming Workshops!
Aug 25, 20152
I can't believe it's been a month since our last MakeMN workshop. It was such a fun project, and the finished pieces were more amazing than we even anticipated!
We've been busy around here at the MakeMN headquarters - coming up with new workshop ideas, planning out the rest of the year, and making plans for 2016! We've got the scoop for you on a few upcoming workshops - but first, a quick recap of our Clocks & Antlers class.
One of our favorite parts of the workshops, aside from seeing the incredible finished projects, is presenting our workshop attendees with their swag bags. A fun surprise at the end of each class, we send you home with a bunch of beautiful, handmade items from some of our favorite local & national friends!
Our sponsors for this month's MakeMN {check out their pages for more of their awesome work}:
MN zipper pull: Relaine; Necklace: Lydeen; Screenprinted lunch bag: Scrappy Products; MN Nice Cookie: Something Sweet by Maddie Lu; Soy candle: Vintage Pyro.
A huge thank you to our sponsors for giving our DIYers a fun, handmade surprise to take home!
And.....drum roll, please...check out the workshop pics! First, our inspiration:

Our workshop ladies with their finished projects. How cute is it that their clocks match their fashion style?
The next MakeMN workshop is scheduled for September 25th. It's an evening string art, dinner & drinks workshop, where you'll finish a wood background for your string art, and then choose either a stag head design (see some of the clocks above) or a LOVE sign to string in your choice of colors. You'll get to use our Miss Mustard Seed's Milk Paint, and learn the art of stringing. We'll provide the entertainment {in the form of our really fun instructors from The Vintage Studio}, the food {a light dinner}, and the drinks. You bring a friend {make sure they register first}.
We also have two Holiday Marquee MakeMN workshops scheduled - only one open spot remains! Lastly, we'll also have a December holiday gift workshop scheduled soon. Stay tuned!
